This is how happy I feel that Phil Phillips won American Idol!! I tried so hard to stop watching the show and every year I get pulled in. I have seen every season, and this has got to be the best year ever. Even though I am still so upset about Joshua not winning (not sure if I will ever get over it), I am glad Phil did. He was my second choice :)
Got our tickets tonight to go see the American Idol concert in July. So excited!!!

Spent my night baking from my Miette cookbook. The recipe called for a kind of backwards cake making process but it seemed to work great. Can’t wait to dig in to my Lemon Tea Cake!
